Purchasing Assistant
Job description
Purchasing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Purchaser with managing purchase orders, data entry into our E-2 system, tracking orders, working with all departments to help identify purchasing needs and maintaining accurate records of invoices and contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Online ordering, and input into E2 System
Issue RFQ and PO to vendors
Track orders and RFQ and ensure timely delivery
Update internal databases with order details
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Communicate with departments for Purchase related issue
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Entry level; Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role is preferred
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Experience with E-2 software system is preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Solid organizational skills
Good communication skills
