The Operations Director will oversee and manage WGC's support functions (e.

Church Operations and Support Staff.
Responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the church through leadership and oversight of the support staff.
Responsibilities include:
Through support staff leaders (and Ministry Support Council as applicable), oversee the following:
The effectiveness of the church database and other IT systems.
The readiness of the church campus to support our ministries.
Excellent and relevant internal and external communications.
Oversee financial operations and reporting for Westgate Supervise the Westgate Bookkeeper.
Develop and oversee the WGC budget process in conjunction with the Treasurer and Finance Committee.
Analyze financial performance and advocate for changes as needed.
Drive creation and implementation of the long-term capital plan.
Lead implementation of employee benefits and WGC property and liability insurance; adopt a risk management mindset.
Manage a transparent contribution process for Westgate, and facilitate donor analysis and relations, as needed.
Oversee Human Resources for Westgate, working hand-in-hand with lay leaders on the Personnel Committee Manage workforce planning, and all associated processes.
Orient new staff to WGC environment, policies, and core values.
Update the Westgate Chapel Personnel handbook.
Lead creation of and improvements to business processes and policies, as needed.
Measuring Mission Effectiveness.
Responsible for the measurement and monitoring of the effectiveness of the church in fulfilling its mission.
Establishing and maintaining a dashboard of high-level performance measures that provide the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor of Ministry, Elders, and church staff with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of key functional areas of the church.
Continually connecting with ministry leaders and the lead pastor so as to ensure alignment and prioritization.
Pastoral Staff Evaluation Oversee, manage and improve the annual staff evaluation process.
Establishing clear and measurable annual objectives for each Pastoral Staff member consistent with Westgate's vision and mission, and ministry plans.
Track individual development plans for Pastoral Staff.
Fully support Westgate's statement of faith.
