Our latest opening is for a deeply experienced insurance account manager.
This is a hybrid office/home position.
You will work in the office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Personal Insurance Account Manager (AM):
The AM is a highly skilled person focused on serving the client in a proactive way, developing relationships with carriers, clients, and producers, and executing tasks timely and accurately.
The AM asks pertinent questions of the client in order to learn about exposures and find the right insurance solutions.
An inquisitive manner serves the client, agency, and carrier best.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Client service.
The AM has a dedicated client base and is the main contact for clients various servicing needs.
A typical week would include the following duties:
Order changes to current insurance policies.
Review policies with large premium increases and determine best course of action.
Contact insured when appropriate and document Epic.
Remarket policies, as appropriate, being conscious of coverage differences between carriers.
Perform coverage reviews.
Maintain follow-ups to ten days.
Report losses and follow-up with the client.
Document electronic file completely and thoroughly.
Utilize agency's latest technology to perform tasks.
2.
Advanced consultation.
The AM is a skilled, knowledgeable professional who is expected to:
a.
Understand insurance policy forms of various carriers.
Follow agency Errors & Omissions guidelines.
Be able to make policy comparisons.
Identify risks and coverage gaps.
Review accounts with multiple losses and determine best course of action.
Grade clients and routinely review to update grade.
Engage in client meetings when asked.
Is well versed in and offers agency website services and mobile app.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1.
Initiative.
The AM is expected to take initiative to handle service requests, coverage questions, claims reporting from clients, referring only to the producer when mutually agreed upon.
2.
Knowledge of marketplace.
The AM is expected to know the insurance carrier niches and determine best account placement.
3.
Underwriter relationships.
The AM is expected to forge positive working relationships with insurance underwriters.
4.
Proactive, can-do attitudewith a smile.
The AM volunteers to take on tasks in order to provide excellent client service and free the producer to solicit.
5.
Insurance knowledge.
The AM pursues or has earned advanced insurance designation(s) such as CIC or CPRM.
6.
Computer skills.
The AM uses the latest technology, has advanced skills in Applied Epic, Excel, Outlook, and network directory functions.
Additionally, the AM maneuvers the agency website with ease and proactively trains clients on the website's functions.
7.
Professionalism and accuracy.
The AM's written communications are clear and free of grammatical errors.
Service requests are done accurately the first time.
Carrier errors are caught and corrected in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
A minimum of five years' personal insurance service experience.
Independent insurance agency experience will give you an edge.
High School diploma.
College education preferred.
Insurance designations such as CIC, CPRM, CPIW are a plus.
A current Insurance Agent license for Property and Casualty.
