Toledo World Headquarters Purpose of the JobThe Insulation Supply Chain S&OP Analyst is a key business partner who owns responsibility for demand and supply planning in a business segment and leading or contributing to team continuous improvement initiatives (such as IBP implementation).
The analyst is focused on improving the advanced analytical capabilities of the Insulation organization in the pursuit of service, cost, and cash optimization.
This role coordinates the monthly forecasting and annual operations planning process culminating in review and alignment with leadership.
This role has strong cross-functional relationships with sales, finance, and Insulation S&OE teams.

individual contributor Job Responsibilities Demand and Supply Planning Supports the timely development of consolidated demand and supply plans in support of the annual operating plan, monthly forecast, and other financial reporting processes Develops short-term and long-term scenario models and analysis to support S&OP, long range planning/strategic planning and operating plans Collaborates with business partners to understand market and customer dynamics that drive changes in demand and can communicate this to leadership in a clear, concise manner Ensures alignment of with global sales and finance teams as well as our Supply Chain Leaders Relentlessly drives for data integrity and systematic process controls that prevent errors and foster confidence in the S&OP demand process Ensures that the demand-supply balances are reviewed, gaps or opportunities are presented for action, and cost and service are optimized.
Anticipates risks and proactively develops contingency options Leads optimization of service, costs and cash through continuous improvement and analytics Assists in continuously improving the supply chain process to drive best in class process, standardization, and optimization Support the team in projects related to network optimization, capacity reviews and long-range planning Use analytics to improve our S&OP processes Serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point for users of supply chain planning software suites Technical leadership and development of the strategic and operational planning tools to support the creation and execution of the demand and supply plans Development and execution of various what-if scenarios, along with synthesis of results into a concise executive summary Job RequirementsExperience Minimum of 5 years demonstrated work experience and proven leadership in operations, materials management, supply chain, sourcing or related field Undergraduate degree - supply chain degree preferred Expert proficiency in Excel, Access and Power BI preferred Ability to coach, mentor, and teach others Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effective communication skills to influence cross-functionally Ability to lead and influence directly and indirectly Ability to inspire a shared vision among diverse teams and businesses/regions Ability to manage change across multiple functions and/or business areas/regions Problem solving and decision making through advanced analytics and data Demonstrated growth and expansion of best practices Total cost analysis with emphasis on external market influences Ability to set priorities and remain self-motivated in completing work Demonstrates curiosity and a growth mindset Results-oriented approach #LI-TF1#LI-HybridAbout Owens Corning Owens Corning is a global building and construction materials leader committed to building a sustainable future through material innovation.
