CSR Delivery RESEA Advisor

, word processing; spreadsheet; presentation software); identifies and notifies participants and/or guest speakers; distributes workshop notifications; tracks participant attendance; tracks evaluation process and training outcomes; coordinates with other Ohio Means Jobs Center partners to create goals and strategies for workshop delivery; facilitates training to meet customer needs; evaluates workshop effectiveness and identifies trends in learning and workshop improvement opportunities; distributes and ensures needs assessment is completed by job seeker, if appropriate; collects data on training needs of participants and suggested workshop topics.
Delivery of Program Services:
Reemployment Service and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program services:

, sends letters to applicants; schedules and records attendance and/or supplemental activities in the Advancement through Resources, Information & Employment Services system (ARIES); assists applicant in development of an individual employment plan to identify barriers to employment; refers applicant to support services e.
g.
, community and/or Ohio Means Jobs Center partner services ); follows-up to ensure subscribed supplemental activities are completed.
Maintains knowledge of current program policies by reading manuals, policies, and other correspondence as well as attending all related skill development training and RESEA meetings; provides information and data on services provided to participants as requested.
Services RESEA Job Seeker Accounts:
using personal computer, registers new applicants or updates previous applications for employment using ARIES; interviews job seeker to determine personal and work history to assess skills, aptitude, physical limitations, job interest and readiness, develops mutually agreed upon employability plan to access employment/training opportunities and to address barriers which may negatively impact successful job search outcomes; assists job seekers with resume writing and job search activities; instructs and informs job seekers on labor market information and how to access employment opportunities; using OhioMeansJobs.
com match job seekers and employers based on needs and requirements; contacts job seekers via telephone and/or electronic mail regarding job referrals to employment opportunities; responds to job seeker concerns regarding appropriateness, quality and number of job referrals; contacts job seeker direct or use other means to track and enter appropriate placement information in ARIES; records and maintains a thorough on-going account of service activities provided to job seeker on appropriate screens in ARIES (e.
g.
, case management); adds and removes initial/subsequent appointments as necessary to ensure that participant's program deadlines are met to avoid benefit interruption; identifies post-employment training opportunities; provide guidance to customers:

com; create, post and/or upload resumes; completes career profile assessment in the system); Provides General Orientation to RESEA customers:
acts as initial greeter to RESEA customers and provides general information and reference materials regarding Ohio Means Jobs Center partner services; schedules customers for group orientation sessions and/or refers to Resource Room and/or refers to Ohio Means Jobs Center partner for services; assists in-group presentation to orient RESEA customers to Ohio Means Jobs partner services.
Provides Administrative Support for the Training Services Unit:
handles requests for training assistance from potential participants; explains the intake process for WIOA funding; verifies and distributes customers' pre-requisite information to DPD Client Services Specialists and Workforce Innovation Manager; assists with WIOA eligibility/suitability determinations; collects and complies customer's statistical data as requested and runs reports as requested.
May represent Lucas County Department of Planning and Development in related activities, orientations/workshops, and recruiting activities such as job fairs.
May perform additional duties related to workforce or economic development as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (any discipline/field), or in Economics, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science or a related field, AND at least one (1) year of related work experience OR Associate's degree in any of the above fields AND two (2) years of related work experience; OR five (5) years of related work experience if no degree.
Must possess a valid driver's license with driving privileges in the State of Ohio, or have reliable means of transportation if accommodated under the ADA.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Knowledge can be developed after employment) Knowledge of Department of Labor rules, policies and procedures as they apply to workforce development programs Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) rules, regulations and eligibility standards Knowledge of and skills in using office equipment, personal computers and common software applications (word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, etc) Ability to gather, collate and classify information in accordance with applicable rules, regulations and guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively, (both written and verbal) with customers, co-workers, other county employees, and the general public.
Knowledge of Individual Training Account vouchers, on-the-job training (OJT) contracts, and WIOA customized training programs.
Knowledge of basic economic development terms and data collection methods Ability to maintain confidentiality of all individual is information according to policies.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position may require overnight travel.
May require hours beyond normal 40-hour work week, including possible weekends.
May require use of personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
