Industrial Hygiene Technician

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Industrial Hygiene Technician to work in the NW Ohio and SE Michigan area.
TASKS AND
Responsibilities:


  • Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring services for various clients located in the Midwest region.
  • Write client reports that convey sound professional methodology, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level public and/or private contacts.
  • Performs other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.

Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

  • A minimum of a two-year college degree, preferably in a related field.
  • Experience in surveying sites for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials, air monitoring, and/or mold investigations
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload
  • Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities.
  • Asbestos and Lead certifications highly desired
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
