The Recruitment Consultant is the main face of Pontoon to our clients. The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for delivering recruitment service to hiring managers at one or more clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and the meeting of client and internal metrics. The Recruitment Consultant is the day-to-day contact for their hiring managers, and is responsible for requisition intake, providing regular progress updates, presenting candidates, and negotiating offers and hires. Throughout the recruitment process, the Recruitment Consultant adds value by sharing their industry and process expertise with the client. The Recruitment Consultant is the primary person responsible for achieving the top-line sales projections for their clients and a strong influencer on the bottom-line results.
Provide strategic guidance and consultation to hiring managers on hiring market conditions, competitive compensation rates, and candidate supply and demand. Coach managers on interviewing techniques and legal compliance.
Negotiate a fillable job specification during requisition intake and establish/negotiate reasonable commitments that we can meet.
Ensure hiring managers interview all presented candidates by determining best presentation of candidates resumes and backgrounds so as to sell them to the hiring manager and overcoming hiring manager objections
Overseeing and directing Talent Acquisition and Sourcing and Research Group peers to adjust strategy and tactics based on client feedback
Internal reporting/data capture including updating CRM with hiring manager likes, wants, personal details etc.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
Four (4) years of recruiting experience preferred.
Staffing agency, RPO or other third-party recruiting experience preferred
Strong knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, hiring legality, relationship management and due diligence.
In-depth knowledge of recruiting and sourcing technology including but not limited to experience using staffing systems and tools including relational database applicant tracking systems, the internet and job boards.
Experience recruiting and sourcing for high volume and difficult to fill jobs.
Demonstrated success in a client-facing role, preferably with sales or sales-like responsibilities
Ability to analyze and interpret metrics to drive performance.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Ability to build trust, develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
