(Prod Sup Analyst) Mfg Support Engineer

Position Summary The Computer Engineer will support assigned areas to include product configuration and Bill of Materials. The Computer Engineer is expected to possess and use knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field, and be capable of handling multiple concurrent projects. The position works in close collaboration with others in the organization, especially Customer Service, Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Marketing. The Computer Engineer I will be assigned to operations involving lower levels of complexity. This position will participate in projects and/or work tasks that may require physical effort in the manufacturing plant. This physical effort may include standing on a concrete floor, reaching with hands and arms, manual dexterity, stooping and kneeling, bending, turning and twisting, and pushing and pulling and lifting, sometimes up to 50 lb. or more, so as to provide engineering guidance. Occasional travel may be involved to resolve field issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
Bill of material set up and maintenance in Fenevision.
Create and maintain production reports.
Maintain part schedule lead times in BOM.
4. New product system set up.
Education &
Experience:
BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering
Knowledge in Database Design and SQL
Experience with VB.NET, ASP.NET, C+
or C#
