Human Resource Manager (manufacturing)
International manufacturing group is seeking a Human Resources Manager for facility in the Greater Toledo, Southeast MI area.
Successful candidates MUST have current plant manufacturing experience.
Human Resources Manager
Define and implement the Human Resources strategy and action plans to support the local plant strategy and business plan for the manufacturing plant.
Create and execute staffing plans for the manufacturing plant. Manage recruitment of exempt, non-exempt & hourly associates.
Create and execute training strategy for the manufacturing plant. Facilitate Career Development & Succession Planning
Responsible for the health, safety and environmental management system for the Plant Operations.
Develop and manage HR policies and procedures for Plant Operations in coordination with Regional and Corporate HR Departments. Create all functional process documentation.
Manage and maintain HR reporting systems, including monthly metrics. Manage training, safety, payroll and benefits functions for Plant Operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field - REQUIRED, Masters preferred
Minimum of 8 - 10 years as an HR Generalist, MUST have current manufacturing and/or automotive industry experience

Proficient in all Federal & State Laws - EEOC, Workers Comp, ERISA, ADA, FMLA
Ability to influence, motivate, and direct people
Effective communication skills and proven project management skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
